Wedding season is upon us and today is all about what I would wear, wedding edition!  Here are four great dress options and a couple fun alternatives if dresses aren’t your thing.  Wedding season can be kind of crazy with all of the expenses that are involved even for the guests.  After gifts, flights, hotels, etc. the last thing you want to worry about is what to wear to the event.  Most of the options below are under $150 and can work for so many events (think bridal showers, graduations, garden parties, etc.) that the price per wear goes way down.

I love the floral pattern on this pleated halter dress.  I also like how the pattern is more concentrated at the top and gets broader at the bottom.  Be sure that whatever dress you choose, it isn’t white, or mostly white.  You definitely don’t want to upstage the bride.

This is a similar option to the first dress but leaves you a lot of room for wedding cake!  The best part is that it’s only $46!  That’s right, 46 DOLLARS!  Talk about getting your money’s worth.

Something about this dress instantly drew my attention.  I think the palm print is perfect for a tropical wedding, a south Florida wedding, or a southern California wedding.  The kelly green color would look great on all of you brunettes.

This lace overlay lavender ombre dress reminds me of my lace obsession during the holidays, but it’s refreshed for spring.  It’s such a tailored cut, but the coloring of the dress makes it young and fun.  Be sure to check what color the bridesmaids are wearing before wearing a dress like this.  You don’t want to upstage the bridesmaids or be mistaken for a bridesmaid if you aren’t one.

And now a couple alternatives to dresses if you want to really shake things up, or if the wedding you’re attending is a chic city affair.

I love the look of this tailored jumpsuit.  You have to click the link to see the details at the shoulders.  I would definitely warn you to try this on before committing in case the length or fit is off.  The great news is that Nordstrom always has free returns and free shipping, so it’s a win-win.

If you love the idea of a jumpsuit but want something a little more forgiving, this is a great option.  Lots of room, but still totally polished looking.

Which option is your favorite?  How many weddings do you have coming up this wedding season?  Let me know in the comments below!
