We are wrapping up our three-part series of the Surgeon General’s Advisory on the Healing Effects of Social Connection and Community in the report on the Epidemic of Loneliness and Isolation. The first week, we talked about why this report and research were necessary, and then in part two, we get into the nitty gritty and talk about how Isolation and Loneliness affect our health.

This week, in part three, we talk about the six pillars of how to advance social connection. I strived to give you tangible ways to be more social for yourself, but also for your community.

I hope you put some of these ideas into action and implement them in your lives. We know that having more social connections in your life is great for your physical and mental health.
