What’s in the Episode
This was a great conversation where I felt like I got a coaching session and walked away feeling encourage and confident to host in my home again.
Here are some of the hightlists from our honest conversation:
- Michaela is a certified life coach with tons of experience helping people reach their goals and get through tough problems.
- She is a fellow military spouse with 13 moves under her belt, so we talked a lot about transition and how those transitions have affected her and her family’s lives.
- Honest Talk International is Michaela’s life coaching business and we kept coming back to the idea of being honest throughout our conversation. Honest about hosting, how to be a good friend, and getting out of a rut.
- I loved her advice on how to ask hard questions to friends so that you can build a deeper connection with them. Plus, she had great insight into how to navigate being the new person in a new place.
- I walked away feeling encouraged at how to be more confident in my friend group, especially after a year of isolation.
I know you’ll feel encouraged and confident too after you listen.
What I’m Binging
Each episode I share something that I’ve been loving lately. This week, I shared my recent shift in meal planning. I’ve switched from meal planning about every two weeks to doing a whole month at once.
It’s helped relieved me of feeling like I’m constantly meal planning.
In order to plan that many meals at once I’ve designated days certain categories of meals. Mondays = meatless Mondays, Tuesdays = Taco Tuesday, Wednesday = Bowl Wednesday, Thursday = Instapot Thursday, Friday = Take out or Fish, Saturdays = Sheet pan meals, Sundays = Pasta Sunday. It’s been so helpful.
