This week’s podcast episode is all about one of my favorite things….tablescapes! I didn’t realize I had so much to say until I started talking. There are a lot of great tips on building your own tablescape from the ground up. Or table up, I guess. Be sure to click below to listen to it.
Plus I put together a few resources to go along with the podcast. You can watch a video of me explaining how to build the tablescape. It’s helpful to see it in addition to just listen to the podcast.
If you’re looking to get your own table ready for spring, then be sure to check out the resource I put together with links to all the spring tablescape items I recommend.
Listen to the Podcast Here
In this episode you can hear me share the four main parts of building a tablescape. I walk you through figuring out which foundation piece you want based on the type of table you have.
Then share an easy formula for table centerpieces.
Next, we move on to place settings and my love of layers when it comes to place settings. Plus, I give you a nifty trick to teach kids how to set the table.
And finally, I share how to use the chairs at the table to incorporate your party theme or season.
After all that you can hear some really good tips on how to keep your tablescape looking nice whether you set it up days in advance of your party. Or like in my case, you have kids, but don’t want them making a mess of the table you’ve set.
Be sure to click below and listen! Or listen on Apple podcasts and Spotify.

You can click on the video below to see a visual of the podcast. I think it accompanies the podcast really well. Listen to the podcast, then watch this video to get a better idea of how to build a tablescape.
I even had to move some furniture to make the video, so I’d appreciate a click 😉
Get Your Table Ready for Spring
If after all of this tablescape talk you’re ready to get your table ready for spring, then be sure to click through the links below.
I put together this resource of my top recommended tablescape items. Most are very reasonably priced and not only will add a touch of spring to your table, but you’ll be able to use them year round. I don’t typically buy one use items, so these are great additions to your inventory of tablescape gear.

During the bingeing segment of the podcast I share this tablescape item that has been used in nearly half of my tablescapes over the past couple of years. They are super versatile and I highly recommend them.
