We had a really delicious dirty soda bar with lots of different mixes, girl dinner of Caesar salad and French fries, then painted Valentines Day candles. Floral Tape + $12 of stems from Trader Joe’s

I took a few bunch of greenery from Trader Joes, bound it together into a garland shape with some floral tape and created a great winter garland.

Once he said the house was bare, I totally agreed. Everything looked cold and not very cozy. Enter a few greenery stems from Trader Joes and some floral tape to make this quick easy winter garland.

It warmed up the mantle and brought in some greenery that we were missing after Christmas. I also added some Eucalyptus leaves as well.

Has it all dried out pretty much right away? Yes, but it still looks decent enough to leave up until there is some Valentine’s day decor.

This is a great cost saving way to make some DIY decor for any party you might have coming up.

Decorate early and do it all at once. Don’t drag it out. The sooner it’s done, the sooner you can enjoy it. We accomplished this by hosting a Christmas themed party right after Thanksgiving forcing me to get the decorating done. It was so nice to have it off my plate the entire holiday season. I was able to be present and enjoy the season with my family instead of slowly decorating over time.
