Overboard on Party Themes with Alia Cherry

I loved my conversations with Alia today!  So many good pieces of advice to take away from the episode with.

  • I loved her advice on starting party planning with just three areas to focus on, food, activities, and decorations.
  • Plus she gives us the formula for how she decides on what activities to include in her parties.  She has great advice for how to let the kids get involved, yet still have control over the party.
  • We also talk a lot about holiday and family traditions and that simple ones work best. You have to hear about her husband and son’s baptism tradition.
  • Alia shares how her faith plays a role in hosting and that hosting has helped to broaden her kids’ friend circles.
