Happy November friends! I hope you had a great October and a great Halloween. This month is always a busy one for my personally and within my business. Plus it’s a month of gratitude!
Do you practice gratitude? Do you do it daily? I have a daily gratitude practice that I really enjoy, but I like to take it up a notch in November. Plus I like to get my family involved.
I was trying to get this fun and easy printable banner template to you before the month started, but because of my kids being on half term holiday it didn’t happen.
There’s never a bad time to start with gratitude though and even if we’re already a few days into the month why not give it a try.
Plus you can start the month off with several days of gratitude at once and really set the intention for the whole month.
To help bridge the gap between gratitude and parties I created this printable banner template. It will help you practice gratitude all month long while creating a fun party decoration.
I’d love for you to print it out and add a new gratitude pennant to it every day.
How to Practice Gratitude Monthly With a Gratitude Banner
It’s so easy to get your family or kids involved by designated a particular time of the day to talk about what you’re grateful for and add the pennant to the banner.
You could do it at dinner and have the banner somewhere in your dining room. It will make a great addition to any Thanksgiving decor you have set up.
Or you could have each of your kids do their own and hang the banner in their rooms or on their door.
I added my banner to our entry table so it’s visible every day. Another great place would be along a fall themed mantle.
Printable Gratitude Banner Template Tutorial
First you’ll need to download and print the gratitude banner here. Or click on the picture below.
Once you enter your email address you’ll get the password to download the banner from my resource library where there are a ton of printable party resources.
I recommend printing out five copies of the download. There are six gratitude pennants so five copies gives you all 30 days you need for the month.
Once you’ve printed out the printable banner template you’ll need a few supplies to get the banner ready.
Just cut out the pennants with some scissors. Then you’ll need some twine to hang the banner on.
After cutting mine out, I wrote a few things that I’m grateful for in the circle provided.
Then I wrapped the pennant around the twine and secured it with some tape.
Then you can hang your banner wherever you’ll see it everyday.
And every day you can just add another pennant to your banner. At the end of the month your party decor will be complete. Plus you’ll have taken the time each day to be thankful for so many things.
Printable Gratitude Banner Tips
I’d recommend placing all of your banner supplies in the area where the banner hangs. So each day it’s easy to write out your gratitude and hang a new pennant.
I didn’t realize it when I designed these that the color scheme perfectly matches my entry decor all decked out for fall. Teals and burnt oranges. It’s not a combination I’ve used in the past, but I’m really liking this color scheme.
There are a ton of other ways to use this printable banner template if you don’t want to hang a banner.
You can use the print outs and punch a hole in them to hang on a gratitude tree.
Tape them to your spouse’s bathroom mirror everyday with something about them you’re grateful for.
So many uses!
